Here are a few moments from the workshop for Creating Urban Walkable Places.
The event was sponsored by America Walks/CDC Walking Action Network Workshop for Austin. The workshop was created to catalyze and enhance individual & community-based efforts to increase walking and walkability in Austin, by connecting local leaders and community members with the talents and expertise of America Walks and a cadre of other leaders working on relevant initiatives.
This event was a follow-up to the May 2nd Imagine Austin Speaker Series with Scott Bricker and City of Austin staff public presentation held at City Hall.
