Here are moments from the Native American Summer Camp 2013 which is a project of the nonprofit INDIGENOUS CULTURES INSTITUTE (based in San Marcos, TX.). Camp activities include traditional Native traditions and culture, flute playing, regalia painting, danza, and theatre.

Held at the Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos, the five-day camp was funded by the San Marcos Arts Commission and Hays County. Participants were 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and was free for those attending schools in the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District.

On Friday July 12 at 5:30pm, the students hosted a special reception and performances for family members and the public.
